What are the China visa photo requirements?
A recent colour photo, 33 × 48 mm, with the head 28–33 mm tall and 15–22 mm wide and 3–5 mm of space above it, on a plain white or near-white background without borders. Face the camera with a neutral expression and eyes open, with nothing covering your face.
What size is the digital photo?
Between 354 × 472 and 420 × 560 pixels, JPG, 40 to 120 KB. "Download photo" gives a 420 × 560 px JPG within that file size.
Why is the digital photo a little wider?
The online photo has a 3:4 shape, slightly wider than the 33 × 48 mm print, so it shows a little more background at the sides. The head has the same size and position.
Why was my online photo rejected?
The online form checks the size, the file weight, the position of the head and the background. Use a sharp photo with even light and no shadows, and make sure the top of your hair touches the upper guide line.
Where do I print it?
