Frequently Asked Questions
What size is a 4×6 photo in pixels?
472 × 709 pixels at 300 dpi, which prints at exactly 4 × 6 cm.
Is a 4×6 cm photo the same as a 4×6 inch photo?
No. A 4 × 6 cm ID photo is 40 × 60 mm. A 4 × 6 inch (10 × 15 cm) print is the standard photo print; this tool puts four 4 × 6 cm photos on one of those prints.
Which background colour should I use?
The one the form asks for. Red and blue are common in Indonesia; white is the usual choice for passports and visas.
Where can I print it?
Download the 10 × 15 cm sheet and print it as a normal photo at any photo shop, then cut along the grey lines. At home, print the A4 PDF at 100% size, not "fit to page".
Can I change the head size?
Yes. When the photo is ready, use the head size slider or drag the photo until the top of the hair and the chin sit on the guide lines.
