About ZeroToolbox

ZeroToolbox is a free collection of tools for everyday files: PDFs, photos, scans, spreadsheets, slides and videos. Every tool runs inside your browser, so the files you open here stay on your device.

Why it exists

Most online converters ask you to upload your file to their server. That is a problem for bank statements, contracts, ID scans and family photos, and it is slow on a weak connection. Modern browsers can do this work themselves, so ZeroToolbox does it on your device instead.

There are no accounts, no daily limits and no watermarks on the files you make.

How it works

When you open a tool, your browser downloads the program that does the work, the same way it downloads the page. Your file is then read and changed by that program on your phone or computer. Heavy work runs in the background, and the AI tools run their models with WebAssembly or your graphics card.

Because nothing is uploaded, a tool keeps working without a connection once its page has loaded, and its speed depends on your device rather than on a queue on someone else’s server.

Rules for the photo tools

The photo tools restore and correct a picture: light, colour, noise, blur, damage and temporary blemishes. They do not change what a person looks like. There is no reshaping of faces or bodies, no skin lightening and no makeup filter, and every adjustment has a limit so the result still shows the real person.

Who makes it

ZeroToolbox is an independent project made in Mauritania. It is not connected to Adobe, Microsoft, Apple or Google, whose file formats the tools open.

The site has no ads and sells nothing. It costs little to run because your device does the work and the pages are plain files.

Ideas and bug reports decide what is built next. You can send them from the Contact page.

Open-source software and models

ZeroToolbox is built on open-source software and AI models, each used under its licence. Thank you to their authors.
